Valentine's Day is almost gone and I am a bit late in getting this post up. But, better late than never I suppose, right? And since I dressed for the day with a pink and theme…

The vote was to have heart shaped pizza, which I made and we ate, but I have to say, I'm not so sure it was worth the time and effort. Mac suggested next year we get “Dominos pizza and use a sharp knife to cut it into a heart shape.” Gotta love the honesty, heh. Not that pizza has anything to do with my outfit, but whatever. I liked the outfit more than the pizza.

I am happy to say that I was not stuck on gray today, which was nice because the sky was. These is some black but it is definitely not the stand out color here. And considering that I had a terrible time deciding what to wear today, I think I did ok. I like the obviousness of the Valentine color theme and I also think the lace shirt is so pretty. Button down shirts are not the easiest style for me to find with a good fit and this one fits nicely. I think I have had it more than 12 years.

I also finally managed a day without tall boots. This really is quite an accomplishment since I seem to live in them in the winter. Although these suck on ice, they are not bad to walk in considering how high they are. The platform is enough to keep my foot at an angle that isn't too extreme. As for the jeans, I think I will sell them. I am not in love with the way they fit. Even with a belt, I end up having to hike these up. Always a super attractive thing to do, I am sure. They are a size 29 if anyone is interested.
